Saint Philip Church Announces its Second Mission Trip to

Managua, Nicaragua

High school Juniors and Seniors are invited to an experience of a lifetime!

A mission trip is being planned through MUSTARD SEED COMMUNITIES to “Hogar Belen” in Diriamba and Managua, Nicaragua. Along with a visit to a poor community in La Chureca near Managua, Nicaragua. This trip is being led by Fr. Rodrigues. Young men and woman from Saint Philip Parish are being invited to reach out to many people in need in order that they grew closer to God through the poorest of the poor by working with children and young adults with disabilities; ages 2 to 22 years old. This trip is open to all high school Juniors and Seniors from Saint Philip Church.

Missionary Experience to Nicaragua

Our High-School Mission Group to Nicaragua was officially blessed and commissioned for their missionary experience at the 4 PM Mass on Saturday, March 31. Under the leadership of Father Rodrigues, along with their adult chaperones, the high-school students left our parish on Saturday, April 14 and returned on Saturday, April 21.
