Ministry to the Sick and Homebound

Our parish priests celebrate Mass monthly at Cortland Place, Hebert Nursing Home, North Bay Manor and the Village at Waterman Lake. In addition, “Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion” distribute Holy Communion in the nursing homes every Sunday following the 9:00 AM Mass.

Each month, the priests visit shut-ins for Communion calls. In addition, the priests also make regular visits to the hospitals. In the event that a family member is hospitalized and/or shut-in, please notify one of the priests to attend to their spiritual needs.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion make regular visits each week to those who are sick and homebound by bringing them Holy Communion.  In addition to Sunday’s, they visit the nursing homes mentioned above on the First Friday of every month.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion who are unable to make their assignment should request a substitute online through Ministry Scheduler Pro.
