Hello, All! Who would have thought that I would be leading a retreat in Vietnam for 24 seminarians? We are staying at Saint Paul's Seminary, a minor seminary where we are now leading a week-long retreat for the seminarians just entering the program. I have attached a schedule to verify that we are actually getting up at 4 AM (I usually get up at 3:30 AM) and we are in Chapel by 4:30 AM. They guys are extremely serious and very balanced. A really good group. The Bishop here will not let any of them come to Providence ... I asked! They are ordaining 8 men to the priesthood but every year coming up for the next 5 years, they have classes of 15 in each group! Actually, they can only accept 15 ...they would have 23 this year if they were able to accept everyone who applied. It's amazing! Please pray for us this week and we will pray for all of you! The retreat concludes Sunday evening and then on Monday morning, we are participating in a final profession of vows for 16 sisters, Lovers of the Holy Cross. God bless, (Father) Frank
